Understanding nutrition concepts has become muddled by the "wellness" industry and diet culture. Basic nutrition information is often overshadowed by fads and proposed quick results related to weight loss; but, while our overall health and well-being is directly impacted by the foods we eat, the most commonly proposed methods don't necessarily have health in mind. And that's why if you've ever felt confused about nutrition, you're not alone.
This website (and associated YouTube channel) was designed to provide free, easy-to-understand nutrition information. It is a place to learn more about eating for physical health, mental health and overall well-being. This site is not selling any products. It does not cater to diet culture. It is not highlighting the latest "wellness" and nutrition fads. Instead, it is a place to read posts (and watch videos) that break down big ideas in nutrition, learn how to truly eat for health, and just generally learn how to take care of ourselves.
